Tables and Interpolation Programs
My name is Helmut Paul.
For years, I have been collecting and comparing data on the K-shell ionization
by light ions. The results were presented, e.g., in the paper
Review of Experimental Cross Sections for
K-Shell Ionization by Light Ions
by H.Paul
and J.Muhr, Physics Reports 135 (1986) 47, and in the following papers:
The
article Fitted empirical Reference Cross Sections for K-Shell Ionization by
Protons by H.Paul and J.Sacher appeared in At. Data Nucl. Data Tables 42 (1989) 105. This article contains two tables:
Table I. Empirical Reference Cross Sections.
Table II. Experimental Cross Sections.

The
article Fitted empirical Reference Cross Sections for K-Shell Ionization by
Alpha Particles by H.Paul and O.Bolik appeared in At. Data Nucl. Data Tables 54 (1993) 75. This article contains the following
tables:
Table I. Empirical Reference Cross Sections for
K-Shell Ionization by Alpha Particles.
Table IIa. Experimental Cross Sections for K-Shell Ionization by 1H Ions
(except for data listed above).
Table IIb. Experimental Cross Sections for K-Shell Ionization by 2H Ions.
Table IIc. Experimental Cross Sections for K-Shell Ionization by 3He Ions.
Table IId. Experimental Cross Sections for K-Shell Ionization by 4He Ions.
Press here to save the compressed version (Intpol.zip) of
the file containing the interpolation program to your disk. Press here to save the compressed version
(Table1&2.zip) of the file containing Table I (Table1.prt) and Tables
IIa,b,c,d (Table2.101,102,203,204) to your disk. (You can also save the files
to disk by pointing to the underlined word and using Save Link As).
